End Burnout

Does working from home have you feeling burned out AF? Stressed about work meetings? Struggling to find a quiet space for yourself? These days, we’re dealing with a lot of stressors.

If, like millions of Americans, you’re still working from home, you may have had lofty visions of Instagram-worthy healthy meal preps, 6am treadmill runs every day and finally learning another language. Instead, you’re hopping on Zoom call #8 of the day, you haven’t even had a chance to make lunch (instead, Uber Eats is delivering…again) and that treadmill is collecting more dust than miles.

We know people are exhausted. We know people are dealing with burnout, chronic fatigue, stress and new (or worsening) pain. Your back suddenly hurts in a way it never has. You feel another tension headache coming on. You have such bad decision fatigue you could scream. We get it.

We get it because we’ve been there. We’ve dealt with the back and neck aches, the tension headaches, the tired eyes, the foggy brain and the lack of energy. We also knew we needed to do something about these issues because they aren’t sustainable or healthy for anyone. This is how this blog was born.

Under Construction: A New and Improved Self

Through our wellness blog, we hope to bring helpful, digestible and captivating tidbits of information from wellness experts that can help you avoid or dig yourself out of burnout, boost your physical health and reignite that driven, hardworking spirit. We are inspired everyday by the dedicated entrepreneurs and working professionals who are taking matters into their own hands to reclaim their wellbeing. Together we hope to change and improve people’s lives, whether you continue to work from home or you return to the office.

Did you know that we spend 90,000 hours of our lifetime working? We think those hours should be spent loving what you do, loving how you feel and, at the end of the day, feeling fulfilled and invigorated by what you’ve accomplished. If you aren’t feeling that right now, that’s okay. We’ve all felt that way, but we hope to offer you guidance and support to promote better wellbeing.

From nutritional hacks that boost brain power to interviewing osteopaths and functional medicine doctors, our blog will provide you with everything you need to build and maintain optimal performance, both professionally and personally. You may want to give it your all every day, but it’s tough when you don’t feel 100 percent. Most of us aren’t feeling 100 percent right now. Perhaps that’s how you stumbled upon our blog.

Through The Edge Desk and our blog we hope to change people’s lives for the better. We hope to inspire, challenge and reenergize you more than that morning cup of coffee. We’d also love to hear from you, our readers, about wellness topics that you want to know more about. Perhaps you’re having trouble implementing a new workout regimen or you want to know what apps could finally help you start meditating. You probably don’t have the time to sift through all the wellness podcasts out there to get the information you need. Let us do the work for you.

These may be unpredictable times, but we can find predictability and strength in our actions, habits and routines. We’ve got your back! Now, let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work…
